Aery is a compact Ultraviolet-C air disinfection system developed to help people regain confidence in social interaction in a shared space. The design maximises disinfection efficacy using a dual-stage approach. This is achieved by cleverly repurposing the wasted heat from the thermal management unit and introducing an airflow control channel to impede air velocity which increases the air’s Ultraviolet-C exposure duration during the disinfection process.
