U Step

U Step staircase is formed by interlocking two u-shaped square box profile pieces having different dimensions. This way, the staircase becomes self-supporting provided that the dimensions do not exceed a threshold. In-advance preparation of these pieces provides assembly convenience. Packaging and transportation of these straight pieces are also greatly simplified.

The design is a modular, sound-absorbing acoustic panel system which doubles as a decorative lighting system, intended for indoor places requiring acoustic treatments. This design, in addition to providing sound absorption through its materials, unique form and modular structure, has technical specifications that can include a lighting system. Thus, the design offers one aesthetically pleasing and economical system that provides both acoustic treatment and functional and decorative lighting.

Anamamrete

Anamamrete project offers new and innovative ways of using concrete in architecture, interior, product, furniture or accessory design. The project is a series of experiments with the aim of humanizing concrete. Throughout the experiments, the designer is focusing on the possibilities of overcoming the negative stereotypes associated with concrete and how to create a new, more pleasant and softer look for a generally industrial material. Another aim is to offer alternatives of innovative concrete wall coverings with new visual experience for interior designers.
